Day 7 & 8th - Putt-putting Across the Mississippi River, American Gothic, John Wayne's Birthplace & more!

Wow! Miss Hilda is back in Iowa and slowly made her way across some of this vast state. Endless, beautiful fields of corn and soy. And some of the most friendly people in the world.

We stopped in Eldon, Iowa, to see the famous house featured in American Gothic. And we created our own NEW American Gothic: (video below, too)

So far so good! Iowa is HUGE, so we still have at least one more travel day across the state!
